New electrostatic speakers "New Reference"
System consists of a unit for medium-high , a unit for the bass and resonator with passive bi-amping obliged using a cross-over atttivo dedicated external (only low-pass filter ).
Tension of the membrane
The new reference is the ultimate expression of our technology :
• The stators have a copper thickness even greater;
• The stator copper is plated with pure silver;
• The dampers are made of membrane material used especially in aerospace;
• The electrical insulation of the stator is by means of a paint having dielectric strength even greater ( 135kV );
• The membrane of the medium-treble loudspeaker is metallized on both sides and has a thickness of only 4.8 microns;
• Active loudspeaker : possibility to use also a power amplifier coupled directly to the panels without the interposition of a external elevator transformer.
For this purpose, we have built a dedicated tube amp that works at high voltage and high impedance.
In fact, the input connector of the loudspeaker is designed to be connected to both the step-up transformer (using a common external amplifier) and to dedicated direct amplifier too (100+100 W with 4 KT88 push-pull).
